I
want to thank everyone for
their continued faithful
financial support of the
church.
Giving continues to be strong, and the church continues to meet all obligations.
Giving
year-to-date is above
budget, and expenses are
running below budget.
This has allowed an
additional $10,000 to be
applied to the church note,
bringing the amount owed
down to $572,000.
We will be adding about $200,000 to the note with the additions to the kitchen area that are set to begin in the next month.
There
will be several mission
trips taking place over the
summer. The community
kitchen continues to provide
meals for any who want them,
and estimates are that up to
25,000 meals will be served
this year. The church
continues to meet all
conference askings.
As
always, individual donations
are kept in strict
confidence.
Total church income and expenses are open for inspection to any member of the church by contacting the church office. I want to thank each of you again for your faithful financial support of Central United Methodist Church, and I ask for your continued prayers for the church as we go forward, “living and loving as Christ commands”.
